Hot, Hot, Hot

The hot weather a few weeks ago has really slowed down my productivity.  I assure you that our CSA veggie boxes are still looking great.

I’m off to Austin, Tx tomorrow for the Society of American Archivists’ Annual Meeting.  Should be a nice 103 degrees every day.  Hopefully, updates to come!

July 4th tart

I skipped out on fireworks this year as it was 90 degrees in town and I didn’t want to deal with the crowds.  I attended a nice backyard bbq at a co-workers.  His parties are known for good food and drink, so I attempted something new.  I made the crust from scratch and used some of my CSA squash.

CSA Week 3

The selection greatly improved this week with 15 varieties of goodness to choose from. I was overwhelmed the first two weeks trying to figure out how to use all the veggies. This week I feel I’ve settled into using something every day.
